What problems you met in Diamond Wire Saw Cutting?
Problem 1:
If the fixation wears too much with the adjacent sintered beads, the over-worn fixation should be replaced timely in case of accident caused by sudden breakage of the diamond wire saw. This will help shorten the down time.
Problem 2:
If the beads of the plastic/rubber wire saw become loose, while quantity not too many and distance not too far away, we’d better cut the loose part and re-connect the wire saw. If only few beads become loose, we can break the loose beads and re-cover the rope with tape, or we can cut the loose part and re-connect the wire saw with replacements. Proper repairing of the defective wire saw helps reduce the risk of wire saw breaking.
Problem 3:
If the beads show eccentric or oval abrasion, diamond wire saw cannot spin during the cutting process. Usually, eccentric and oval abrasion is caused by inadequate preloading, poor running of the beads since too tightly fixed to the rope. For spring wire saw, if spring pressure too strong, the beads will also show poor running since fixed too tight to the rope.
Problem 4:
If the beads show conic abrasion, bringing up the line speed will help a lot.
Anyway, whatever problems in cutting process, we need to figure it out and sort it out immediately before resuming work.
